Overview
Wrapped in the noise about the causes of the country’s most recent financial crisis is the subject of enterprise risk management.
As bank loan portfolios continue to deteriorate and bank failures maintain a steady, elevated pace, bank regulators and government policy makers are becoming more consistent in their call for improved risk management at the nation’s financial institutions.
Though this conversation is not new, many banks struggle to develop an effective system for managing risk. Board involvement, appropriate measurement and monitoring, and integration across multiple functional areas remain a challenge.
Join us for insight into overcoming those challenges as bank consultants and external auditors share their first-hand experience and knowledge of best practices in enterprise-wide risk management.
