The run-up in U.S. natural gas production has been so sudden and so fast that it has yet to be captured in much of the debate on energy policy. But the production equivalent of 1.3 million barrels of oil a day has profound implications that must be understood and acted upon by energy professionals and those who finance and support them.

Topics covered in this recording include:

  • Can the supply run up continue with producers strapped by tight credit, low stock prices and declining energy use?
  • Will infrastructure be able to keep pace with supply developments or serve as a "throttle"?
  • What are the midstream challenges?
  • What's currently driving near-term price movements and what is the pricing outlook for this winter and next year?
  • What is the likely impact of initiatives as diverse as California's Proposition 10 and the Pickens Plan?
  • What effects will rapid growth in domestic supply have on LNG and pipeline imports?
