Mr. Cook provides senior coverage of REITs and high-grade and high-yield retailers. Mr. Cook has 25 years experience in various positions at Citi, Salomon Brothers, Kidder, Peabody and Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science from Bucknell University and an MBA from The Wharton School. Mr. Cook's professional certifications include the CFA and CPA designations. He is also an NASD Registered Securities Principal as well as an SFA Securities Representative. Tom is a member of NAREIT. ICSC, AIMR and NYSSA.
Larry Finger

Having retired as EVP, CFO and Treasurer of Federal Realty Investment Trust, Mr. Finger now provides strategic advisory services to public companies seeking improved valuation. At REIT School, he will share the corporate executive's perspective on balance sheet management strategies and the impact of leverage upon market value.
Mr. Finger earned a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from Georgetown Law Center. In addition, Mr. Finger received his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1976, and was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar Association in 1981.
Ryan Fleming

Ryan Fleming is an Associate Director in the Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Group at UBS Investment Bank focusing on strategic advisory and financing assignments for real estate and lodging companies. Ryan joined UBS in 2006 in the Debt Capital Markets Group covering real estate and then moved to the Real Estate Investment Banking team in 2008. While in Debt Capital Markets, Ryan worked on 52 bookrun transactions originating $35bn of debt, hybrid capital, and structured notes for real estate clients including Kimco, Duke Realty, HCP, iStar, HRPT Properties Trust, and Developers Diversified Realty.
As a member of the investment banking team, he has worked on equity offerings for Vornado, Parkway, Colonial, and Sovran and additionally has had experience in private equity fund raising.
Ryan received his B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance and Operations and Information Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
David Loeb

David joined Baird in 2006 as senior analyst and Managing Director responsible for Baird’s coverage of hotel REITs and select hotel C-corps. Prior to joining Baird, he maintained similar coverage as a Managing Director in Friedman Billings Ramsey’s research department. During his 20 years of research experience he developed an extensive background in the hotel space having covered it since 1993. He also brings equity research experience from Credit Lyonnais Securities, CIBC World Markets and Bank of America.
In both 2007 and 2008, David was ranked by StarMine as a Top 3 Industry Estimator in the REIT sector. He earned his MBA from Washington University, and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Brandeis University.

As a leading instructor at one of the most prestigious real estate programs in the country, Dr. Mueller closely tracks and writes on real estate market cycle analysis, investments and capital markets. Dr. Mueller is also the Real Estate Investment Strategist at Dividend Capital Group, where he provides research and investment strategy for Dividend Capital's Real Estate Securities, Private Real Estate Investment, Private REIT and Real Estate Debt groups.
Dr. Mueller holds a B.S/B.A. from the University of Denver, an M.B.A. from Babson College and a Ph.D. in Real Estate from Georgia State University.
Reagan Pratt
Principal & Portfolio Manager,

Mr. Pratt is a founder of Transwestern Securities Management and is responsible for managing TSM’s public real estate securities portfolios. Mr. Pratt has 17 years of real estate experience and has worked extensively in multiple facets of the real estate money management business. From 2001 through March 2004, Mr. Pratt was a portfolio manager with Heitman Real Estate Securities where he had over $2.0 billion in real estate securities under management. During his tenure as portfolio manager the portfolio consistently outperformed its benchmark, the Wilshire Real Estate Securities Index. At Heitman, Mr. Pratt developed and refined security selection procedures, implemented important risk control measures, developed new products and helped generate new business for the firm.
Prior to joining the securities group at Heitman, from 1994 to 1998, Mr. Pratt worked in the direct investment advisory business at Heitman and predecessor firm JMB Realty. In this capacity he was part of a team that acquired real estate assets with a value in excess of $1.0 billion, on behalf of institutional investors. Before moving to Chicago to join JMB Realty, Mr. Pratt worked for one of Canada's premier economic and real estate forecasting firms.
Thomas L. Regnell

Mr. Regnell joined the Washington Real Estate Investment Trust in 1995 and most recently served as Managing Director, Acquisitions. From 1992 through 1994, Mr. Regnell served as an Investment (Acquisitions) Officer with Federal Realty Investment Trust. Previously, Mr. Regnell was a Vice President with Spaulding & Slye Company, a real estate development, brokerage and management company.
Mr. Regnell is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and serves as a director of the Northern Virginia NAIOP. He also is a member of the National Advisory Council to the George Washington University's School of Media and Public Affairs.
