What is the dress code?
Business casual. August weather in Charlottesville is likely to be in the upper 80s to mid-90s with some humidity, but meeting rooms are often cool, so be sure to bring a jacket or sweater.
What is the best way to get to Charlottesville?
Charlottesville is accessible via air, Amtrak and bus. Often, the most attractive travel option is to fly into Richmond International Airport (RIC) (average round-trip cost from NYC is approximately $150) and make the 75-minute drive to Charlottesville. Other airport options include Dulles International Airport (2-hour drive) and Reagan National Airport (3-hours).
The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) is served by Delta, Northwest, United and US Airways with non-stop flights to and from New York/LaGuardia, Philadelphia,
Charlotte, Washington/Dulles, Detroit and Atlanta.
In addition, Amtrak serves Charlottesville, making travel by train an option for participants along the East Coast.
