Jukka Lipponen, CFA
As President of Independent Insurance Analysts, Jukka has more than 20 years of experience in insurance and financial services. He currently provides independent investment analysis and credit research on life and P&C companies to institutional investors, as well as buyers and distributors of insurance company products.
Mr. Lipponen's prior positions include Senior Vice President at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and President and Managing Director at The Townsend & Schupp Company. He is a CFA charter holder and holds a BBA and MBA from Florida Atlantic University.

Robert Farnam
Bob joined the equity research division of KBW in October 2005 and covers a portfolio of small-to-mid cap specialty niche and regional property and casualty insurers.
Prior to joining KBW, Bob was a Senior Financial Analyst and Actuary at A.M. Best Company. During his seven years at the ratings agency, Bob’s responsibilities included rating a portfolio of commercial lines carriers, maintaining Best's internal capital and loss reserving models, and advising other analysts with companies that had serious capitalization or reserving issues. Bob also produced much of Best’s industry-wide data analysis and co-authored reports on the excess & surplus lines market, industry loss reserve adequacy, and overall industry financial results.
Bob started his career in the actuarial department of General Accident Insurance Group, where he worked in the reserving and commercial lines pricing units.
