Analyst Training  provides a comprehensive introduction to analysis in the power and gas sectors through a curriculum of lectures and discussions led by an accomplished faculty of practitioners, consultants and industry professionals.

In addition to learning the unique analysis inputs the sectors require, you'll also participate in a hands-on case study that familiarizes you with multiple approaches to the analysis and valuation of a publicly-traded power company. In this team exercise, you'll apply concepts and techniques discussed in the seminar, but you'll move beyond academic methodologies to use real-world data to analyze a functioning company.

Bottom line: You'll come away with practical knowledge you can use immediately.

  • Knowledge of capital-raising instruments and the impact of capital management strategies under various market scenarios

  • Executive perspectives on the economic outlook for individual companies and the sector as a whole
